Just wondering how many of you that set you Bilsteins at 2.1 are happy with you choice, or if you wish you had went with the 2.8 setting.

I originally installed mine at 2.1, and eventually raised them all the way up. Wanted ot closer to level.

Super happy! Especially since it keeps my maxcare warranty intact lol
If I could go bigger, I would go 4 or 6" but in terms of leveling I wouldn't want the 2.8 setting personally

I'm very happy with my truck set at 2.1. It sits better than stock and looks good with my stock sized cooper ATPs.

Happy at 2.1. certain trucks look better with a little rake based on their design, and the Ram is one of them IMO.

Happy with 2.1

Have had zero issues, and it's better when you actually use the bed of the truck or tow

I'm great at 2.1 and my only change would be to do a 4" lift as my truck is solely a pavement pounder lol.

Was happy with 2.1 until I went with a 6" lift. Was even running 295/65r20 @2.1. And it had just enough rake imo.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm installing my Bilsteins next Saturday if all goes well. Like most people I am dealing with that personal debate of 2.1 or 2.8.
I have been researching every article and picture I can find for the last 2 weeks and driving my wife nuts.
I even did mock ups with the floorjack and safety jacks so I could compare the pics.
I think I prefer the 2.8 (not a big difference really) I just hate the thought of riding around with that big gab in the front wheelwell until I wear these tires out and get new ones. But, I also dont want to set it at 2.1 and wish later that I had set it at 2.8. Guess I have a couple days left to figure it out.
2.1 (roughly)

2.8 and a 1" rear spacer (roughly)

How much of a pain is it to go from 2.1 to 2.8 once installed? Does the entire lift need to be removed? Pr can it be done by jacking one side up and making a quick adjustment?

they must come out to be adjusted and then it will need an alignment again. Basically the same thing as installing them all over again.
I wish is was a simple adjustment, then I would do 2.1 now and adjust up to 2,8 when I was ready for the new tires.
That's kinda why i'm stressing over it now, as I only want to do it once.

I guess it comes down to how much rake ur truck has stock, and how you want it to sit when done. My truck had almost 3.5" of rake from factory. I didnt raise mine to 2.8 until after i was lifted. I still had over a 1.5" of rake which bothered me everytime i looked at the truck. The fact that i had to replace one of my front shicks plated a big role in me going to 2.8 as well. I figures since i was tearing apart one side, would be a good excuse to go ahead and set them all the way up.

Swh822'2 truck has the right stance. Just a hair of a rake it seems. Like mentioned before the Rams I find don't look good levelled. They need that 1" in the rear (giggle). Of you know you're getting bigger tires why are you entertaining the idea of the 2.1?

Side note. What tire size do you have swh822?

Nice! That's a beauty truck. I'm toying with the idea of the same set up. What you installed is basically the 2" Mopar lift right? It's $1500 in Canada *****. But I guess if I wanna keep my warranty...... it still looks good with stock tires [emoji106]. Did you notice a drop in MPG ? I commute way too much to be slapping on 35's :(. Although I wish I could

Bils @ 2.8 up front with mevotech UCAS
Rear 1 " TGC spacer and new bils shocks..
Gas mileage don't really pay attention to much but last trip was about 300 miles and it stayed the same as before I changed anything
