Put on the Hellwig 7883 rear lifted sway bar kit

https://www.amazon.com/Hellwig-7883-Lifted-Rear-Dodge/dp/B011BER92K

Installation was a straight forward and took about an hour and a half.
Have to say to the rear has completely different characteristics.
Just seems to really hold the road at speed. Going over speed bumps on an angel is always a coffee flinging experience, this bar does not even break a sweat, you hardly even notice it. At least in the rear end.

Problem is now the front end has noticeably more sway than the rear. Don't get me wrong, the truck noticeably handles a lot better, but I was afraid the front would not be as good when challenges with bumps and uneven Terran. I wanted to get a set for b0oth front and back but could not find a front swat bar for a lifted 4x4 truck ? please if anyone knows where I could get one a link would be appreciated.

End game though the truck is night and day around corners, gives you a feeling of confidence taking corners at speed.

I have it set on it's softest position

pretty pleased with it as is :)

May try the other two settings, but it really cleaned up the rear end of the truck

Looks nice, any idea if this would work with the leveling kits? I know they have a stock replacement bar but this seems much better

you would need to call them and ask, I think the stock kit is the same bar, just uses the stock drop rods as they need to add the longer ones for the lift version.

the Rough Country Lift I have actually has longer rods that would work with this sway bar, I just used the Hellwigs supplied ones as they are a bit thicker :)

Do you think I could customize to use removable pins for the link to bar adjustment? I'd really like to get one for the weekdays but I'd like to be able to soften it up when I'm working out on the property during the weekends. You're noticing a big difference from stock even on the softest setting?

Hmm, I'll have to look a little more closely. I'm wondering if i can re-purpose some jeep parts I have laying around.

BDS kit comes with longer end links also and a bracket to rearrange Panhard bar.

I put a Hellwig ASB on my 1500 4x4 Sport..

It's lifted 4 inches with the Mopar lift, and running 35's...

I didn't run it unlifted long enough, so I don't know if the lift and tires caused it... But post lift... If I hit a bump or dip in the road.. The ass end would "shimmy" nothing violent, but it was a cause for concern.... I put the Hellwig on.... and I "think" it improved ever so slightly, but maybe I'm just trying to convince myself that I didn't waste $200?

What length did you set your sway bar end links at?

I got a hold of Hellwig today and talked with the tech department about part #7883. They told me that the sway bar end links adjust from 11" - 14". I think this will be my next purchase since the BDS 13" end links are on the short side of things. Being that they're to short and my rear sway bar bushings squeak going over bumps.

I noticed 2 part numbers. This kit that you have 7883 for lifted from 2" to 4" and then kit 7709 for stock height. I am looking into putting on a 1" or 1.5 rear coil spacer sometime down the road and was wondering should I get the 7709 or the 7883?
Anyone have any input on this?

So it'll work with the new 6" lift end links?

you dump those, everything you need including the adjustable end links included

Theirs are much thicker than the Rough Country ones
