How are the Mevotech UCA's holding up?

Received my Mevotech UCA'S today from Rock Auto! They look better than stock but I had only had a quick glance at the ones that are on my 2014. I have an appointment to get them put on along with a 2" level and 3" body lift next week!

I got scared when I opened mine up. There's a black plastic piece covering the ball joint boot. Mine had a crack in it and I thought the boot was ripped. Lol

Mine worked like a charm today at the installer, when he asked about the price he got online and ordered them to keep in stock.

Can anyone confirm the stamping on the right and left side Mevotechs? I want to double check them before they go on. I see one has a "ms stamp" on the top and the other on the bottom.

have a look at my above post with the pics. Is the stamp the thing above my hand in the second last pic where the UCA'S is upside down?

That is the stamp I was talking about. Looking at both of them it appears that one has a "unlock" and "ms" stamp on the top and the other has it on the bottom. I just wanted to verify right and left. Thanks for the help.

You could probably install them backwards but they'll hit sooner. When I installed them I was worried about mixing them up but its a no brainier once you hold them up they have a slight curve. Very easy install I've got about a grand on them. Definitely a diy install took about 15 minutes a side.

So the part numbers you guys are ordering are good for 2wd and 4wd correct? I'll be placing my order soon and wanting to ensure I order the right ones for my 4wd. Thanks!

The part number for a 4wd are in the pics I posted. I'm not sure if 2wd use the same ones

Well they seem to be working well. I like that they're grease-able. My only issue with them is the paint. Mine are rusted like crazy! It sucks because now I'll have to take them off to be painted in the spring.

Yeah other than that they're good! Can't beat the price on them, and when you get them you'll be amazed with how much tougher than stock they are!

I sprayed mine with 3 coats of VHT suspension paint so hopefully that will keep the rust at bay. Luckily I saw the posts about the surface rust before I put them on my truck.

Just curious, if you need to change the ball joint on these does it still take the stock BJ? Or do you need to know the number for that too?
