For those of you with 6" lifted Ram and 35" tires, what jack are you carrying in your truck in case of flats?

Also, what spare are you carrying and does it fit under the truck?

Mine is an 09 Ram

Hmmm....81 views and no replies

I have been researching. It seems a bottle jack might work, or just carry a piece of 6x6 and use the jack that came with the truck.

Ramroy, I had a 2005 Z71 with 34.5" tires, 3" torsion lift. I cut 2 pieces of 4"X4" post about 12"-14"s long and layed them parallel with each other. I then cut 2 pieces of 1"X6" boards and screwed one piece on top and bottom of the 4X4's. Basically made a raised platform for a bottle jack that I carried in the truck. Hope this helps..

My truck didn't have a jack when purchased used. No lifted 6" on 33's without a spare, hope I don't get a flat anytime soon. If I do I'll have to go home, grab a jack and my 4 stick tires and switch out all 4 tires. That'll be a PITA.

Thanks guys. I think making a platform is the best idea. Definitely the least expensive

You can use your original spare as a spare. Just don't drive on it for a long period of time. It is a temporary spare after all.

Right your normal spare tire will work just fine for a spare.
Also like was said a big bottle jack might be best to carry.
