Default Just ordered my HBS 2" Kit - tire size opinions?
I just ordered my HBS 2" Kit, and was planning on BFG AT/KO's in 285/65 R20's for the wheels I found on Craigslist. Those wheels are -12 offset, so will stick out approx. 1.25" further than stock, then add the wider tire and I will get to about 1.75" further in total.

I made the decision on tire size based on not putting anymore stress on the wheel bearings etc. than necessary and for mpg's.

Ramhunter9 has given me a price on those, very competitive, but they ain't exactly cheap.

So now I'm thinking for the money I could go up to 35's.
I'm worried they will be super heavy, shutting down the MDS, killing the MPG's, and stressing the bearings etc. etc.
I'm guessing the size would be 12.5" wide on the average 35's? That would have me sticking out like 2 plus inches from stock... ugh, I'm not sure which way I should be looking. Any input would appreciated.

There is no question that 35's look amazing on these trucks with a lift kit. Look at 2k10HemiRam for 35's on a level. It looks badass. I wanted 35's, but I just don't think I would ever really have a need for them. 275/60R20 will give me 33 inch tall tires, but in a lighter, more fuel efficient way.(hopefully)

I actually like 34s..............

Even though my 34s looked stuffed before I put a body lift on the truck.
