Lets see those 1500's on 37's...I'm getting the itch to go bigger

Nice, what's the wheel size and offset?
Any trimming required?

Mine are 20's. Not sure on the offset, bought the truck with it already lifted. That said, I don't see any trimming done and there's no rubbing either.

I was just wondering how wide and the offset, seems when you go to 37" tires the wheel width and offset is important for clearance.

Is that an aluminum driveshaft? Why the hell does mine have rusty steel ones?

Yes, the 8sp trucks come with Aluminum driveshafts.

Zone 6 inch lift (5 inch spring), bilsteins at max up front, fox shocks on rear, 2 inch wheel spacers, factory 20x9 wheels, Toyota 37x12.5 /20 tires. No rubbing at all. So far it rides well and no problems.

Wow that looks great! How is your ride quality? Do you take it off-road?

Fuel Anza 18x9 1mm 5" BS (had to also use a 1/4" wheel spacer due to the width of the tire causing it to barely touch the spindle)
Toyo MT 37x13.50/18
No trimming needed
Fenders 46" Front and 46.5" Rear
Bilsteins are at 2.8"

Did you need the spacer because the BS was only 5? I am looking at these wheels, but only plan on running 35" tires on mine. Do you think the 5 BS will cause me to need a spacer?

His issue was tire width with the 5” BS, if you run 12.50 wide you’ll be fine

I’m soooooo glad I did the 37’s on my 13 Ram 1500. Makes it different than most the lifted trucks out there. Face it how many times you pulled up next to a lifted truck and it’s 1” taller than your...lol...sucks!

So I went from the stock suspension to a Ground Force 2/3 lowering kit, to Bilsteins and 35's, to the Icon stage 5 suspension with 35's, and now looking to go 6"+ with 37's. I've looked through the lifted truck thread that's 400 pages long :roflsquared:, but many of the pics in there dont share details on lift sizing, wheel specs, ect...

I would prefer to stay with a 17" or 18" wheel, but I'm open to 20" max. Lets see what you guys have.

I’m considering there stage 1 kit. Since you’ve had experience do you feel that their kit is worth the coin? I’m probably just gonna do stage 1 and either zone UCA or possibly icon UCA with delta joint.

So what about gears ? No one seems to concerned with that? I think the 37s look badass but it is a big and heavy tire. What gears you guys have ? Did you guys upgrade the gears or just running on stock? If running stock how bad is it ? I’m assuming most of you just have the 3.92?

Tire weight can be an issue. One reason I went with the Yokohama Geolandar 37’s is that they only weigh 76.7 lbs, that’s only 3lbs heavier than the 35/12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler that’s so popular on here so that’s a non issue with me. I do have the 3.92 with LSD and 8spd trans and my truck has plenty of power and rides smooth.

I absolutely love my 6” RC lift with Fox coil overs! Very nice ride even before Fox coil overs.

Honestly my truck has stock gears and I pull my boat with ease. Hemi has plenty of power in my opinion. I did some upgrades but it wasn’t cause I “had” to have them..

These tires were just released in 07/2017, I have only had them for 1500 miles so no long term review yet but so far so good. They ride great in the rain and are very stable at all speeds. I really like them a lot.
