Yeah if you see more pavement then dirt its the best way for sure.. i just found the ZONE company last night and a 4" lift for out trucks is only 1500$ compared to a BDS lift witch is 2400$ i believe lol

Shoot look at RCX(Rough Country)...their 4" kit is only $1250 and their 6" is $1400!!

Looks like the front rubs? Are the Bilsteins set to max at 2.8? Looks like it still has a rake...but looks good though!!

rubs a tickle on the sway bar at full lock. bilsteins at 2.8" yes. it does have a rake. about 2" or so. might take out the 1.75" spacer and throw in a 3/4" but we will see. getting ripped off in the spring time and 6" and 12 wides are going on

OK, i know i have been talking about a level. But i have a STRONG Raging itch for a 4 inch Rough Country Suspension lift.

its about 4-6 hour install time. How much do shops typically charge to do this in VA Fredericksburg Area.

and more importantly i cannot find any pictures on this forum (searched) of a 4 inch lift. everyone is doing 6, but i dont wanna go that high.

search for pics of the 4" mopar kit. jake's truck comes to might right away, hence why I bought a mineral gray ram in the 1st place, lol. this was just the 4" lift. as for the install time, i've put on many lifts and it takes about 4 hrs to put on a chevy ifs lift and that is with 2 guys busting ass and that's a solid axle rear as well. install depends on labor rates, plus factor in alignment. i'd say 600 to a 1000 out the door for install.

Thats because everyone will tell you to do the 6" kit lol! It will only amount to another 2" of lift and only cost about $300 more!

As far as cost, in my area (NC) its roughly a $1000 install for a suspension lift.

Heres pics of my set up (2.5" level & 3" body), gives you an idea of how the 4" suspension lift would look. If you did the 4" RCX lift kit, you might get about .75"-1" higher than the set up im running.

Gyahhh that truck is beautiful. Makes me miss my mineral gray f250. Put that stance on zotes black sport with black rims and some serious jealousy will be going down.

that black truck is nice! not sure so ill ask the question, but is the 4" and 6" ram lift use the same drops in the front and just taller spacers or no? on the chevy kits, they use the same drops and your stuck at 7.5 no matter what. can i go 6" and put my bilsteins back to zero and then bump them back up to 2.8" when i put on my big boy pants and have ok angles or no?

Yes you can set Bilsteins to 2.8 even with a 6" lift!

see i would love to get the 4'' lift. and i know it depnds on my area for labor costs (ima call around) but $1000 for install i couldnt do. thats too much for my blood. Thats the reason i would want the level, cause i would do that myself. hmmmmmmmm lots of thinking.
