I am wanting to be able to fit 35s and I'm not sure if I should go with a leveling kit or bilsteins. I know that the bilsteins are the better option but I do plan on moving up to a 4" zone lift in the next couple months and I just want to fit 35s for now. I could find a leveling kit for about $150 and that would probably be fine or I could do the bilsteins for about $240 and then id also have to get a rear spacer to even it out. What do you guys think I should do.

Btw my truck is 4x4 but I dont plan on doing any crazy offroading or anything like that.

The bils will probably be needed for your lift to level the front, so it would be a good idea to go ahead and get them.

IMO

Exactly what Austin said. The Bilsteins will likely be used with your 4" lift to level it out properly plus they'll give you a better ride. You'll be better off investing in them now than buying a spacer kit now and then finding out you need to buy Bilsteins later for the lift.

Yup, definitely. Set at stock height at a minimum which will still give you a better ride over stock. But most use them preloaded to level out the lift. The height you want to set them at will all depend on the exact lift you end up buying.

Okay that'll be perfect then. I did want to get some Bilsteins when I do the lift but I didn't know I could use the same shocks at stock and 4" lift. I guess I'll be ordering them. Next is the rear level. What should I go with for that?

If you want to level the truck you won't need to touch the rear end at all. That will just give it rake again.

Okay so I ordered the blisteins a couple days ago. No rear level? Im thinking I would need at least a 1" to level it out and comfortably fit 35s right?

3/4" rear spacer if you max the bils out. Nothing in the rear if set at 2.1.

IMO

This. I plan on doing them at 2.8 and 3/4" in the rear. Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow!
