depending on how much more tire you get, and weight of it. If you go from stock (33) to a 35" tire in a mud terrain, i think youll probably drop about 2mpg maybe 3

What's the widest tire you can run without spacers?

Depends on offset and back spacing. Wouldn't go more than 33" with a level, looks dumb IMO with too much rubber in the wheel well.

Mine didn't look bad with 35's on a level. Looks better now with BL and rear spacer.

I've got stock 33's and a bunch of space. Going with 2" level and 34's. Same width as my 33's, guessing I'll loose a gallon or two with the nose up more...

No decrease with just the level but im sure it will drop when I go to heavier 33x12.50's MT's.
I actually got the best mileage I've seen in this truck after it was leveled.

I lifted my 2012 ST (5.7L Hemi) with the 2.25" spring coil spacer up front, .75" spring coil spacer in the rear and added a 1.5" BL at the same time. I run 295/60/R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (34.5" tires) on a 9" factory offset wheel with a 1/4" spacer to prevent most of the rubbing. Overall, I get about 11-13mpg in town and I've gotten as high as 21 (once) on the highway. It all depends on how you drive the truck, but you will lose some MPG's. Hope this helps!

I am currently running Bilstein 5100's at 2.8" with 1.75" rear coil spacers. Still stock wheels/tires, but not for long. If you can't see my sig pic, then click on my build thread or go check out my albums.

Leveling kit cons ?

Looking to bring the nose up a tad with a leveling kit. I personally enjoy the feel of the stock suspension, so I was advised to try a leveling kit. Are their CONS to this over new shocks?

I have bilstein shocks (adjustable to 2.8 in ) and I love it. The stock shocks are ok but I noticed around 10k miles, it was just too bouncy. Replaced the shocks and its much stiffer now.

I put a HBS 2.5" level on my 2011 a month ago.... didn't notice any change in the quality of the ride. Overall looks a lot better though

As I mentioned in the other thread, I like the feel of a stiffer suspension.

As for you question. I have heard spacers are harder on the front end, but I'm unclear on why really. I would think good quality spacers would be fine if you don't want to change the way your suspension feels. With that said, any lift on the front end will change how it handles somewhat. When you lift the front end or anything for that matter, you change the trucks center of gravity a little.
