Ok so I am looking at buying a leveling kit from SDT. The front is 3.5 inch and the rear is 2 inch. My question is will this work on my truck? It's a bone stock 1500 4 door 4x4

What do they use to lift the front-end, 3.5" is alot on stock parts to handle.

I'm kinda confused, it's easy to do, I thought a leveling kit only applied to the front---to level the front to the rear??? I leveled my truck with Rancho QuickLift Struts and couldn't be happier

That sounds more like a combination of a small lift and leveling. Does the kit include new upper control arms? If not, 3.5" seems like a lot of lift for the stock arms to handle.

Could it be a 1.5" suspension lift and a 2" body lift?

You should either do Bilsteins set at 2.8 and a set of rear 2" spacers or a true 4" lift.
Thay kit you posted will kill your front end IMO.

Exactly this!

For simple leveling with better street handling and light off roading, the Bilstein 5100s are your best bet. After that you get into real lifts where there are a lot more options.

What ever you do Sir DO NOT install 3.5" spacers up front !

You will likely pop your UCA ball joints and you'll ruin your CV stubs as well .
Just my opinion but either do a lift or bilsteins 5100s @ + 2.8" and 3/4 -1" spacers in the rear to keep from being nose high .

Bils at + 2.8" allows for 35" tires with 10 mm front spacers with stock wheels for no rubbing .

Hope this helps .

Yes sir it does. I think I have changed my mind on a leveling kit. Might just do a suspension lift. Thank you

I agree with the guys above. I put a motofab 3" front 2" rear on mine and within 3k miles I replaced my UCAs because the ball joints were popping.
