I put in some leveling blocks on my 2014 am 2500 and can't stand the banging every bump i go over. I have read on here that the bilsteins are the way to go for the from ( set at 2.1) . i am about to order some , but am wondering if i should go with some all the way around as the rear is harsh in this truck . Will they help in the rear ? If so , regular or the heavy duty rears ?
Someone gave this link for the front Essex Distributors - Bilstein Shock Absorbers
but those ones dont come up when i put in my truck details , 4 others do instead . Essex Distributors - Bilstein Shock Absorbers
Can anyone lend their expertise to me on this one before i order ??

You don't need the bilsteins that the 1500 guys use but yes you should do them all the way around. It improves the ride a ton.

Also take a look at the kits from carli suspension, they have custom bilstein's that level and offer more travel

What confuses me is , the shock on my truck is separate from the spring , unlike the 1500 , so to me , I should have to leave the leveling block in place and add a longer chock so it isn't topping out . There's my confusion with what I've read .

if you are still using stock shocks theres your problem. you need longer shocks or shock extenders.

Ya , that's my thoughts exactly . At the same time I want a less harsh ride .

The shocks I listed for you are longer than stock in the front and accommodate a level spacer. Your ride will increase a ton, bilstein makes great shocks.
