if he is not going to offroad the truck body lifts look good on these trucks, and cost considerably less than suspension lifts

2.5inch front level kit will clear 35's not sure on brands, as mine came from dodge leveled.

BL wouldnt be required to clear 35's as seen in the above "before" (left pic) of my truck

It's tough to answer. With the right backspacing, he could go as little as 2" with no rubbing.

Personally, I'd recommend a 3" body lift minimum... but it'd definitely look better with a level also... as you can see in the pics above.

(And he'd still be saving money over a suspension lift)

Bodylifts should have no effect on suspension since its just raising the body off the frame... 2.5" level isn't too extreme; as long as you get a good install you'll likely be fine.

I have 60k on my truck.. bought with 30k and had level on it when i bought it... so far no issues.. BL is a lot harder install then doing a 2.5inch front spacer, and if you want it slightly higher add a 1 inch rear spacer. total install time, less then 1.5hrs for front and back.. BL to the unexperienced person will take 12+ hrs.. ask Argray he and a buddy did theres together in a driveway, took them the weekend to get both done.

My brother is a licenced mechanic with a lot off offroad install experience and got my BL on and dual exhaust cut and rewelded up to the proper height in 6 hrs.

with the right backspacing on the wheels you can fit 35's with the 2.5 level kit.

the kit you are looking at will not give you a level look if that is what you are looking for.

so what is a kit at a reasonable price that will make her level?

also the owner was looking to run 35's on stock rims or maybe drop back to 17-18"

So this will level her and fit 35" right?

If he goes with new rims should he get offset rims ??

that will get it pretty close to level. You can get a little more lift with bilstein 5100 adjustables but they are more costly(don't know if money is an issue)

depending on the width of tires they could rub with the stock wheels. If he buys aftermarket a 9 inch wide wheel with zero offset would work well.

Great thanks.. So if he goes 35" what would be the widest he can run With zero offset 9" rims? 12,12.5,13,14.5?

12.5 would be the safest bet, possibly 13
