I have a 15 1500 and I'm looking to put a 6 inch bds with 12x20 inch wheels and 37. Will the lift be enough to give me clearance for the tires. If not what can I do to give me more clearence. I don't really want to do to much trimming. I don't mind cutting the fairings underneath back some or bending them with a heat gun. I just don't want to cut into the bumper. And is it possible to get no rubbing with this wheel and tire set up.

I just put 37x12.5 r20 on my truck on factory wheels. I used 2 inch wheel spacers and have no rubbing at all. I have a Zone 6 inch lift with bilsteins at 2.8 and 5 inch rear spring. It can be done!

Wheel spacers should do the trick if you don't clear with the lift

If the 20x12 are a -44 like most are...you will need some additional lift like the second poster has with the bils.

Wheel spacers added with no bils and only the 6" on 20x12 -44's, will almost certainly rub as you'll be pushing your wheels out farther without additional lift.

Another factor will be your tire choice...one tire I had rubbed and another didn't....same lift.

Rzrman is dead on.

I plan on getting the bils or fox haven't decided on what brando yet but if I do get the shocks will that be enough lift to clear without the wheel spacers. I might even through a one inch body lift on it.

You'll need to add a body lift on top of the suspension plus Bilsteins if you want to clear 20x12 and 37's with minimal trimming/rubbing. Anything lower will require quite a bit of trimming.
Realistically you need the 6" lift with Bilsteins at 2.1" or 2.8" and a 1.5" body lift at a minimum.

As Rzrman stated, wheel spacers will make your issue worse not better so those aren't even something you should consider.

You can't go wrong with fox , they make a really nice coilover with high and low speed damping if you wanna spend the money.
