Hey guys, I just picked up my 17 ram 1500 the other day, and was wondering if I can fit 35s on a 2 inch leveling kit? Or should I get the 4inch bds w a 2 inch in the back?
I know offset comes into play w rubbing, I don't want to go huge poke just enough to give it that clean poke. Any info would be appreciated

a 4in bds kit you cant go wrong but it all comes down to budgeting if you were looking for just the leveling look to fit 35s i would recommend getting some adjustable bilsteins over the spacers

Is it 4wd?

I would go with the lift kit, but that is just my preference.

Yeah I was looking at the adjustable bilsteins also. You think 35s would rub w the level?

Yeah 4wd just don't want to be too much in the air, I just want a clean look w/o over kill. The 2 inch adjustables are much cheaper compared to the bds that's 2200 bucks

35' would most likely rub with just a 2" level. Get adjustable bilsteins and set them to 2.8 if
You have a 4x4

I wanted to do the exact same thing. Started off with just thinking about leveling. Then I finally decided to just lift it 4" so I don't have to worry about wearing out ball joints and all that stuff. I think its the cleaner, longer term, solution. My lift gets installed tomorrow. I'll be posting pics on Friday when I get it back. I'm getting the BDS package.

Just lift it you will be glad you did in the long run. I would do the 3 inch coils in the back instead of spacers.

If you do Bilstein @ 2.8 some people do fit true 35's with maybe little rubbing....everyones truck is different. If you go with the lift route to fit 35's they fit fine and could do a negative offset for that stance. I'ed say just get the Zone 4/2" lift its only around $1700 shipped and basically same as the bds. Can still do Bils in front just at 0.7 to keep level.

Zone is a little cheaper than BDS... Zone is even made by BDS, however, the BDS warranty is a lot better than Zone. BDS will warranty your things that the dealership may deny due to the modifications. For an extra $500-$600 on a $40k truck, it was worth it to me to go with BDS.

Also, If you use a Zone lift, it is still recommended to upgrade the UCA's. The BDS kit does not require this, so that makes the difference in cost even less.

I've done a ton of research on this myself.

I am about to buy 35-12.50-20 firestone destinations mt's for 700.00 that are 5 days old with .25 spacers from guy at work. I am planning on running billsteins 2.1 . are you saying this will not work. they are 34.52 and 12.50 wide. hate to jump in but do not want to waste money if they will not work out good deal or not. my truck is a 2016 express quad.

Absolutely true.... Go BDS if you got the $$$ to do it!

I'll be doin a Zone 4" soon, As I already have their UCA's and Bils. Unless I can swing the extra for the BDS.

I have the 3" coils and the Zone shocks.

So what do you mean then the bilsteins are set at 1.4? Or do you mean just the adjusters are 1.4 with the 3 inch coils? So 4.4 inches of lift?

The Settings is at 1.4 I have 3 inch coils in the back not the spacers. People think it's a 6 inch lift. With this set up there's not much of a difference between the two

Oh okay I see what you mean. What kind of steps do you have? I wanted to put some on but have no clue what the best would be
