Hey guys I have some big questions for the great community here.

My truck goes in tomorrow for a lift but i have some questions that ned answering first. Here is my plan

2012 2500 diesel
6" BDS lift
Bilsteins up front
35s on 22s or 37s on 22s Nitto

I plan on getting the steering stabilizer kit

How is the ride quality going to be? What about when towing my 3500 lb trailer? am i going to be all over the road? Even when not towing how will it be under breaking? am i going to have to constantly correct the steering when trying to stop?

If the ride quality is affected. How bad is it?
Feedback from the members here would be gretly appreciated

We've got a 2012 2500 with the 5" lift and 35" nittos and it tows perfect. For a lifted truck, I would have the day the ride quality is pretty good, but it's definitely affected and you'll feel most bumps. But still less bumpy than his F250 at stock height that he had.

My truck actually rides better under a load. No problems here. Even with 13k on a gooseneck

Your kit is probably using blocks in the rear
Just be careful when towing heavy or if you add a lot of extra hp, you could start to see a lot of axle wrap

3,500 lbs you'll be fine

35's on 22 won't ride so great and give you the so cal look

Can you elaborate on "axle wrap" and whats the so cal look? (I'm Canadian)
Whats the alternative to blocks without using airbags
Suggestions on Rim and Tire Size

Get on YouTube and search "axel wrap on Cummins" If you dont plan on going big horse power then youl be ok. If you do, a set of ladder bars will help. Just dont take off like a bat out of hell when pulling a trailer.

lots of lift, big wheels which make a big tire look like a low profile

Axle wrap is when you leaf springs will twist momentarily under load/acceleration (make a sort of S shape)
Here's a great video

It shouldnt be a problem for you but just so your aware that it is possible

Great infor with only a few posts. Thanks guys. As far as adding more HP it will be something I look at later on so I will have to remember to add ladder bars to my system when I do.

My truck is at the shop and it is getting the 6" BDS long arm kit with the dual steering stabilizers fox shocks steady bearing and transfer case drop bracket.

I have decided to go with the 20 inch Fuel hostage Rims With Nitto Trail Grapplers in 37x12.50.20

my only question now is what is the correct offset and backspacing?? I dont want then to stick too far out but i dont want them to look skinny and weird either. If I had to add fender flares that would be ok but wasnt planning on it.

Just to add the rims will be 20x10 but i have no idea on offset and backspacing

Well anyway around it its going to stick outy
I think the choose of BS and offset is pretty limited but 5.5-4.5 will stick out less then say 4" of BS
