So im interested in a 6" lift. I have been looking at Rough Country and Zone. Both of them say "This lift is not recommended for use on the TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift".

So my questions is: Is the Outdoorsman the same set up as TRX? i called and spoke to Zone and they couldnt give me a answer.

Also do the 2011 have the same UCA issue as the new trucks are? If so ill plan on gettting Zone UCA.

i have already purchased Bilstein 5100.(have put them on yet)

I have no clue, but I have the CV shaft vibration and mine's a Sport. Go figure. :doh2:

The TRX model would say TRX. The reason they say don't buy the 6" Is because the TRX already have a lifted suspension because it's an off road model, so it would achieve an additional inch of lift.

You should be good with the outdoorsman. FWIW I've loved my Zone lifts.

Outdoorsman model has the same struts the TRX4 had. Thus an extra 0.7" of lift over if it had the same struts as everything else. I have broken one CV joint on mine with a 2" leveling kit, but have not had a repeat (here's hoping it was actually a ****** joint).

I have heard other recommend swapping the struts on TRX4/Outdoorsman model to the stock type when going to a big lift to avoid problems.

Thank you for all the posts. Based off of what iv read im leaning towards Zone 4 inch lift, with Bilstein 5100(already have them, jut not installed yet). Not sure what ill set them at, but im almost positive it wont be maxed out.

I think there are a few guys on here who have maxed out Bilsteins, or have 2.5" spacers in Outdoorsman/TRX4 models without any problems, I may have just been slightly unlucky.

Yeah it seems like a hit or miss. More hit in the new models. Im hoping in the next 2 months to have a lift and tires. I don't want to lift with out tires. So im gong to get tires first.

MiRamDriver: did you go with Hydro or Nitro Shocks in the back, and 2 or 3 inch?
