I'm a newbie to leveling and lifting and all that. I have Bilstein 5100's on order as I was just going to level the front.

Now I'm thinking about a 4" lift all the way around. Does the 4" Superlift (or equivalent) also level? Or do you still need the adjustable leveling shocks? I dont understand how those work together. What if you do the 4" lift without the Bils? Is there still a rake?

Thanks

With a 4 inch lift with 35's you will still have about 2 inches of rake in the front. With the bills you can level the front out. If you do a 4 inch lift go with the rear springs instead of spacers. This is my truck set up with a zone 4 inch lift with 35's. I have the Bilsteins set at 1.4.

You can use both. I have a 4in zone and have the bils on the third setting I think and I still have about an inch of rake which is good for me. All depends on the truck as to what setting you use. But to answer your question you don't "need" them but they're good to have.

this was my 12 1500 with a 4" Mopar(Superlift). Had 2" of rake, set Bils at 1.4 and had 1/2". Was on 34s before I bumped up the Bils. On 35s after

As others have stated, with only a 4" kit installed you would still have a significant amount of rake. I typically recommend Bilstein 5100's with every lift kit to level them out properly. You can certainly install Bilstein 5100's with a 4" lift. You use the strut spacer that comes with the lift kit on top of the Bilstein 5100 strut assembly to get your total front end lift kit.

I would also recommend 3" rear coils for a 4" lift rather than the 2" spacer option.

Could 37s fit with that 4"?

On the right wheels, yes but it would require significant trimming. 35's are typically a better option for 4" lifts.

Here is mine with the 4" Superlift & no Bilsteins to raise the front.

This pic shows the rake pretty good.

Very nice. I love this color more and more every time I see it on here. Never see it locally.

I wonder why my 4in got me so high? It almost looks like a 6in
