I been reading that lifting your truck can cause damage to your front end. I want to do just a 2 1/2 lift. has anyone heard anything like this?

I know others have had problems with the strut spacers that go on top of the front struts. They put your cv's at a bad angle. I ran them on my 2011 and didn't have problems. However on my current 2014 I am running bilsteins 5100s that are adjustable and they don't put the added stress on your cvs. I had mine maxed out at 2.8 for about a year before I did a 4" suspension lift and then had to adjust the bils down to 1.4. I hope this helps.

I ran Rancho QuickLift Struts on my 2010 for 60K miles and had absolutely no issues at all.
Simple to install as well
