Is 1000 to little? To much? Very new to this forum and modifying trucks period so feel free to use words that a noob woule understand. Also, i live near gastonia north carolina! Thanks!

rough country makes a 3.75" combo lift and you can fit 35's. Pretty much a leveling kit and a body lift for $250.

Depends how much height you want. You can level it for around $90, body lift(1.25 or 3") for a few hundred plus labor, or do a CST 4 or 7" which are around $1,000-$1,600 plus new wheels

Can I do the above with my itty bitty 3.7 though? Or would I kill my gas mileage? And I definitely want new rims because the ones the dealership gave me are steel with plastic covers lol.. also thinking of getting the headlights and tails tinted black but honestly don't know if I have "duel" or "quad" headlights and where to get them done around where I live.

All depends on the tire size. Would say test drive a v6 with factory 20s(33" tires vs 31 with the 17s) but I don't think they made any in the 4th gens. But I think cause of the v6 would be a level on the front that way if you decide to stick with 31" tires they won't look super small
