After 50K miles it was time to put some new rubber on my 13 Ram. I am pleased with the results as it sits very level now and the tires are still under the truck without sticking out. There is a very, very minor rub in reverse while turning full lock left but I am considering a 1.5" body lift. The truck rides great and I have no regrets. The Firestone MTs look aggressive but are unbelievably quiet. With the window down the wind noise is more bothersome than any tire noise! Really happy with these tires so far. It still amazes me how these trucks can swallow up a 35" tire and make it look small. Here is the rundown and some pics.

Front: Bilsteins set to 2.8" max setting, Mevotech upper control arms

Rear: Bilsteins for stock length, Top Gun Customz 3/4" rear spring spacer, AirLift 1000 airbags (installed for towing purposes)

Tires: Firestone Destination M/Ts 35x12.5x20 on stock BigHorn 20" chrome clad wheels, no spacers

Looks great! Only thing I wouldn't like about the body lift is your tow hooks would have to come off. That's what is keeping me from getting one

Looks great. I did a 2.5" spacer front level, 1.5" rear on my 2012 Laramie with the exact same tires but I also have 1.75" BORA wheel spacers on mine. I wanted mine to stick out a little.

We just took our truck and camper on a 4700 mile road trip out to Moab, UT. While we were there we took the truck on several of the easier off-road trails. I'm very impressed with the traction of the Firestone Destination M/T's.

Alex, your tires look much wider than mine. Probably because those wheels are 9" and the spacers. Looks great.

Yeah, the 9" wide wheels make it look a little more aggressive. Thanks. I like the red on your truck.

Did you have to run a spacer with the stock 20s?

I had to run a wheel spacer with my stock 20's and 35's after putting on the 2.5" level. After the level was installed I only had about 1/4" of space between the UCA and the stock tires and I knew the wider tires wouldn't fit.

I went with 1.75" hub centric BORA spacers but I could have gotten away with 1.5".

I like the bumper on yours. I've toyed with changing my bumpers but I know I'll be upgrading to a 3500 in a couple years when I upgrade my camper, so I figure I'll keep the chrome look since mine is a Laramie. I may end up keeping my 1500 though as my daily driver and just keep the 3500 for my camper. If I do that then I'll probably go higher and add more toys to the 1500.

Stock bumpers are cheap. I was going like 15mph broke deers leg so I shot it. Good eatin. But totally smashed front end. PITA. Had to drive out of the woods to call a warden to get a carcass tag.
