That truck looks so sick man. That is my goal right there with mine lol. I'm about to get a 6in rcx kit installed on mine with front bilsteins.

Just wondering, did you have to install new gears for the 37s?

Thanks, I have 3.92 gears and with the 8spd trans I haven't noticed any need for a lower ratio, it would be nice to have but not necessary.

One tip I can give you is select a 37" tire that weighs less than 80lbs and the lightest weight wheel you can afford (width adds weight). My 37's weigh just 4lbs more than a 35x12.50 nitto ridge grappler and 2lbs less than a 35x12.50 nitto trail grappler

Thank you brother :favorites37: I will definitely put the weight into my search criteria, and I'm throwing them on my stock rims... saw another user on the forum did it and it looked clean as hell

What kind of numbers are you seeing for mpg? Truck looks great btw. I'm getting less than 15 mpg on a stock leveled truck, with the stock 20's...horrible so far. Probably just because it's learning my driving. My 6" lifted '16 1500 got around 15 mpg too, with 35" tires and 18" wheels! And some mods...

Is your mileage city, highway or combined?

My truck has always got terrible gas mileage, even stock it was only about 15mpg. For the record I drive fast and always speeding lol. I have a short commute w/o freeway driving, I only fill up twice a month so mpg isn’t important to me. I only drive about 5000 miles a year at the most.

If anyone here is concerned about mpg don’t go 37’s unless you drive a diesel.

I'm on 37's with hemi average about 14.6/15 on freeway.. 13.5/13.9 around town.

If you can afford them I highly recommend toyo open country rt tires. Aggressive and have 10k miles on them and they still look greatSnapchat-1704338261.jpg

The Nitto Ridge Grappler is a very good tire as well ... that's the one I went with ... it's an AT/MT Hybrid ..

I was wanting a good tire in the rain and the last month here in Southern California was nothing but rain. These Nittos kicked ass in the rain, had awesome grip and felt no hydroplaning at all which is what I was concerned about ...

They are also not noisy at all but do sound nice going down the road from inside the cab ..
