Hey guys. I just bought my 14 Ram about 2 weeks ago. I've added a few small things, and I just got my level and new wheels and tires installed! I went with the 2" HBS level, with 315/70/17 (34.4x12.4) Duratracs on 17x8.5 0 offset Method Standard wheels. It fits perfect and I have no rubbing. Alignment is scheduled for Tuesday morning. Sorry for the cell phone pictures. First couple are the day I picked it up.

look into some UCA's with that level.

13/14's are known for ball joints not handling the level.

Those tires look beefy as hell though !

I'm actually looking right now. I didn't come across the UCA issues on the level until after I ordered everything. Any recommendations?

Is that level spacers or bilsteis too, this is the first in hearing this...also those are 0 offset wheels? I thought stock wheels were 0 offset? So how come you have a wider stance then stock?

.

I was getting ready to raise the front of my '13 QC 4x4 when I talked to a ChryCo tech in our old car club about this ball joint issue. He said he has seen 1 case of a ball joint starting to pop out the top of the UCA on a new stock truck with less than 1k miles on it. Also seen a case of the issue with a raised truck. He said he thought that one had the Bilstein shocks up front but wasn't convinced they were what caused the problem after seeing a stocker with the issue.
After being aware of this I began searching other truck sites for similar ball joint issues and have found many people with the same trouble. I've not read of any catastrophic failures yet. It does make me wonder about a failure if that part is not properly seated though. Is this is actually a widespread problem ?

Looks good. Those are the same size tires I got except I have 18 inch wheels. I haven't leveled the truck yet so I assume that those tires will rub.
