Hello,
I'm new to the site and Ram ownership in general. I just purchased this 2014 Express Crew in September. It came exactly as it sits. From what I can tell it has some sort of spacer on the front to lift it so the 35's fit. My fender measurements are around 40.5 in the front and the same in the back.
I have a couple questions, First the spacer in the front is squeaking/chirping when I drive down the road. I have sprayed the tops of the struts but the noise comes back in a few days. Can I take the struts out and see whats rubbing and put it all back together without an alignment?
Second I'm thinking about swapping the spacers for Bilsteins in the near future for peace of mind that they are a better product. Should I set them at 2.1 or 2.8? I like the stance how it is now.
Here are some photos of the truck and my balljoint/cv angles.
