Hey guys I'm a long time dodged lover. Own a 02 ram my next one will be a 4x4. The packages are kinda difficult to sort through am I right? I was curious which of the packages would be a good platform to build upon for someone who looking to do some off roading while still having a sturdy truck. The idea has always been to lift the new truck however if there's a truck with some of the things I should look for already it would make things easier right? Pretty much intend on building the anti pavement princess The dirt Duke your could call it!

really depends on your budget, but tradesman gives you no frills basic truck. Sport will lose the chrome and give you some nice interior/exterior enhancements. Personally, I am not a fan of chrome, so the Sport or Limited would be my choice.... Not sure if Laramie has the Sport appearance group like my 2500 does on the 1500's....

I would think he would not want a rebel because of the air suspension which makes it a lot more expensive to lift

I am very partial to the Sport. Color matched bumpers, door handles, and mirrors is a huge plus for me.

yeah i see what you guys mean with the sport, I think i Remember seeing here on the forum there is a guy with a tricked out white sport with black stripes in his signature maybe he could be a good reference on what he has done to it to make it an off road beast
