So my shocks don't have an adjustable collar. Appears these have an option to invert the collar to go a 2" difference either way (according to the lift shop).
The collar is longer on one end than the other. On my truck, the shorter end is facing down, with the longer end sitting behind the black bushing resting under the spring. I am trying to figure out if this is the lower setting. Truck is not level and appears to roughly have a 2" rake. Damn lift shop couldn't tell me unless they take it apart. $200 to get the job done or could be $100 to pull just one apart and put it back together to find out if it is already at the higher setting.
Kinda pissed since I went to a reputable local shop that has been around for decades and they can't even tell by looking at it. I assumed if you spent six figures on an eight year college education to learn how to lift trucks so you can make $100+ per hour swapping highly complicated suspension systems you would know this stuff??? (sarcasm).....
