Hey, a buddy of mine is looking to get a 4" Zone lift (with the 3" coils) and he's wanting to add Bilsteins to the rear. I know they come with the Superlift kit, but I haven't been able to track down the part # from their site. It was pretty much the only thing in the instructions without a part # of course.

I did find the part # on here for the 6" lift (shoutout to AustinB) (be-5-6249-h5 or 33-185569). So does anyone know if they would possibly use these same shocks for their 4" as well?

I've sent out a couple of emails that I haven't heard back from yet and he kind of wants to pull the trigger on these right away. TIA.

I would just call them.. probably won't be first in line for a returned email, unless you're already an established customer..

I wouldn't mention "zone".

Yeah that's what I'll have to do then. And lol, there'll definitely be no mention of Zone. He was actually gonna go with the Superlift first, but couldn't source one out in Canada.

And I remember you said a while back that you could only get them through Superlift, but I've seen that part # show up on several different sites. Could be just a recent thing though.

The shocks are not "specifically" made for superlift.

The sales rep at Bilstien actually told me they were, and that I would have to order through superlift. I think he was either misinformed or there's a contract somewhere..

I believe that when I ran a search for that part #, that a Ford or Chevy application actually came up. In reality, all you're shopping for is the proper length.. and then you need the bushing kit for the Ram. It's just easier to go through superlift because they have already done this research.

Also, Superlift had the best price on them.. which was win, win.

Ok second question, does anyone know if those bushings are only offered by Superlift? They want $70 to ship the buggers.

It's a bag of universal bushings, with a few different sizes.

Can probably get them from somewhere else. But what size do you get?

Good question. He ended up getting the shocks directly from Bilstein, so you'd think they would have the bushings...

I'm still trying to figure out the proper size he'll need, but he'll probably suck it up and pay the shipping from Superlift.

Superlift sold me #77-80038 bushing kit for my Bilstein 33-185569 rear shocks.

Edit:
Never mind. I just searched that part number from the kit I received from Superlift and nothing came up. Sorry

Indeed, they were the black accordion type.

Hey, can either of you guys confirm what comes with the Superlift bushing kit? Is it new bushings and insert sleeves, or it is just the metal inserts to use with the bushings that come with the Bils?

It's new rubber bushings and metal sleeves, one package does one shock so you need to order two. They were $6.53 for each bag so about $13 plus shipping.

My guess is the shocks come with bushings/sleeves for different size bolt than the ram uses.

Ahhh now it's starting to make sense. I called to order the 77-87027 kit and was told that I would need a different kit, so I played it safe and got both. So about $20 later and a ridiculous $70 for shipping I ended up with only enough for one shock it turns out. The bags weren't labeled so I didn't know which was which. Ended up reusing the hardware from my Fox 2.0's, they looked to be pretty much the same at least. Thanks. My first and last dealing with Superlift.
