Rear Coil springs Vs spacer

I dont want to start ANOTHER debate on lift brands. I'd just like know the cons and pros (if any) of using the coil spacer vs a coil spring in the rear when lifting.

Ive heard both good and bad from installers, and would like everyone's opinion here (hopefully someone who has ran both)

Spacers will work just fine and maintain the "stock" ride of the coil..........biggest issue is really getting the frame to axle connecting points back to factory spec. If you don't care for that, you'll have the same quirky handling whether it's a spacer or coil......


FWIW, I ran a spacer in the rear before I went to the full on lift kit which came with rear coils........

I just did the ssc50 springs in the rear because I do a lot of towing gave the rear end a 3 inch lift
