Just found out today from the dealership to replace the*lower*ball*joints*on my*2011 4wd ram 1500*the whole lower control arm is replaced for just a new ball joint and they want around $1000 for oem control arms. I don't like that idea seems like a waste and too much money so what's my options for a*aftermarket lower control arm.
Thanks

Why do you need to replace your lower ball joints ? Do you have a lift installed , if so how much ? How many miles on your truck?

Yea if got a 2.5" leveling kit and im running 37x14's with offset rims and 1.5 wheel spacers. My trucks got over 40000 I tested the balljoint the other day maybe I need to check them again It might just be the upper ball joint but when you grab the hub it definitely has play in the ball joints

Wow ! 14" wide wheels and 1.5 " spacers ... now that's a wide stance !
Did you have to trim your wheel studs for the spacer install ?
Can you post pics ?
