I've seen so many different things concerning the TRX/Outdoorsman models, and to greater complicate things, I have a 2wd TRX.

I'd like to level for now and have a set of 2'' inch spacers for the front. Would it be beneficial to use the bilsteins instead? Or a combination of both if possible? Or am I a complete idiot and under no circumstances should I use both the spacer and upgraded shock?

Ultimately I'd want to be able to run a 34'' tire with more aggressive tread since I am lacking 4wd. Please someone show me the light...:buffer:

Not sure if anything is different on a TRX. If not a 2" spacer will work. I went with a spindle lift since I liked it better than spacers and gives me plenty of space for my 35's. Would look ok with 34's though. Maxtrac kit with 4.5" spindle and 3" rear coil kit set me back $850. Maxtrac also makes 2 or 2.5" lift springs for the front on 2wd's also. Have to email Sean at maxtrac and make sure it works on a TRX.

Thanks for the info, your ride looks fantastic. I do believe the TRX is .75" higher than normal, just not sure if it was both the 2 and 4wd versions.

If you don't mind me asking where did you purchase it from? And did you have to change your shocks? I'm being told that I have to use a longer shock with a 2 inch spacer....

The spacers will be the same. My spindles and all front end parts are the same from 3rd and 4 gen Rams. You can use the 2500 as listed. When I used a spacer on my 09 I just went 2 4wheelparts and got some pro comp es 9000's 0-3" lift front and stock for rear. Rode great and them were only $160 for all 4 with boots.

Yes you can still use OEM 2500 2wd shocks. They are 2" longer than the oem 1500 ones

I believe that bilstein 5100 will not work on 2wd. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe do a little more research to confirm.

Correct. The Bils won't work on a 2WD. I went to 4 Wheel Parts and they didn't have anything for a 2WD.

I had poly spacers on my 09 crew 2wd and had no problems.
