Ordered bilstein 5100 adjustables for front and the 5100s for the rear and got a 1inch coil spacer for the rear, ordered XD addicts and some discoverer 35s. got all the parts in, went to the shop, got the drivers side torn apart int he front and realized that the 2x4 and 4x4 setup is completely different and the 5100s won't work on 2x4. Now I'm going to have to pay $145 for shipping back to Summit to return them after i already paid $105 for shipping up here. feel like a complete idiot right now.

I'd give that a shot first.

Yeah i have them listed on craigslist up here and a couple Facebook pages up here. Biggest problem with selling on here or ebay is shipping cost since they are coming from Alaska.

Ahh...that sucks, but when you get the right bilsteins that fit, you'll be very happy... I love mine, gave me enough clearance for 35x12.5x20 trail graps on fuel hostages

Not sure what the height difference between 4x4 and 4x2, but at full lock, the trail graps just rub on the inner part of the plastic fender liner

I think that would get you closer to the stock heigh of a 4x4, maybe 1"-1.5" taller then one
I'm not confident that'd be enough to fit 35s

thats a bummer. $105 shipping to Anchorage? thats a little steep. I know shipping anything to AK isn't cheap but I ordered some this week from summit shipped to Fairbanks with second day air for $36. Got them in last night and just finished installing them.

Sounds like you should trade it for a 4*4! Lol.

Sorry for the bad luck. Sounds like something I'd do when I get to excited on a super deal I find...
