Im looking at adding a 3/4" rear coil spacer to my truck. Top gun customz has these in both steel and poly. Not sure which is better to go with. Obviously the steel will never give or wear out like the poly, but the poly should last years before that happens. I would think the poly would be quieter too? Looking for input from anybody thats running either one. Thanks.

I had a CST 1.5" steel spacer that went under the coil. I never heard a peep from them. Worked fine, never had a problem from them. Didn't do any heavy offroading though.

It really doesn't matter. I've had Daystar poly spacers on Jeeps and have never had an issue.

Very interested to hear about this exact question myself. Bringing this back for discussion... 3/4" rear coil spacer from TGC... poly or steel? I'm concerned the steel will be noisy. Any good/bad from owners of both please..

Thanks in advance.

If you scroll down on the threads a bit, you will come across "tgc rear spacers". Should be the answer to your question.

It's not the answer to my question actually. That thread is much more about installation, top/bottom. And I read some other theeads as well. I'm looking for some simple, current reviews of both poly and steel 3/4" or 1" rear coil spacers. Preferably from users who have had them on awhile.

Thanks XRSMAN. I'm leaning toward steel for the durability. Comforting to hear they are quiet for you. I like your truck too bud, sharp. Been following your build thread for awhile.

Either will be fine, dont stress over material.

Steel wont make noise and poly doesn't settle. BOOM!
