Part1:
Hey I am looking for an economy suspension lift that sits around 4" so I can keep my 33" AT's. What are some decent lifts or does anyone have one for sale? I
m looking to add a 4 inch lift kit to my stock 1500 4WD.
Mainly want it for looks with occasional off roading here or there nothing crazy.
Has anyone used the RC 3.75 combo lift? Also Can I had bilstein 5100's to any lift or how does that work?

Part2:
I have heard rumors about some type of turbo or supercharger that works for a 4.7 4th gen. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Appreciate all the help wouldn't mind seeing some trucks with lift and tire measurements so I get a better idea of what I will be getting.

Thanks!

Economy and lift shouldn't be used in the same sentence lol...

First you have to decide what you want. A Suspention lift is what you want if you'll be offroading or putting more of a beating on the Suspention.

A combo such as a leveling kit and body lift (lifts the truck body off the frame) is great if you want the look but want to save a bit of money.

Personally I did a 2" front level with a 1.5 " rear spacer. Then I did a 3" body lift. I have 5" of total lift plus my 35's.

My measurements
Stock:
Front 37.5" (ground to bottom of wheel well)
Rear 39" same as above
Now:
44" front
45" rear

If all you want to run is 33's on it just get some Bilsteins and set them at 2.1". That will level out the truck. Stock 20's on Ram's have 33" tires already. All the 4x4's I have seen lifted at the lot with the Mopar 4" kit had 35's on them. I think a 4" would make the 33's look small.
I had just a 2" spacer on the front of my 13 CC 4x4 and could clear the 285/60r20's with room left for a bigger tire. Mine were about 33.5" tall. I took of off-roading and never had a issue.

Nice Truck dude. Thats the kind of look I want to go for..... except on 33's lol The only reason I would ever need bigger tires is for a bigger lift haha. Thats why I want to stay around for 4".

Now I am leaning towards a level and small body lift similar to yours. A Level in the front will somewhat increase clearance yes?

You as well my friend have a super nice truck. So you as well advise a level would be the way to go. Now what if i did a 2" level and the Bilsteins? would that still keep it at more of a level with just a smoother ride or would that increase it above the 2" level?

Here is the 3.75" RC combo I am talking about.

Here is the TC 4" lift I was also considering.

You can't do a leveling kit with bilsteins, one or the other. It'll mess your truck up.

33's with a lift as high as mine doesn't look right lol. Here's a pic of my truck before my 35's.

Do you have any other pictures before the 35's I would like to see and 3-4" with 33s haha

Also any idea on which kit would be better or just the level still?

Mine is a 5" lift so a 3-4 will look different.

As for a kit there's a bunch of good ones out there. Personally I'd go with a leveling kit, but I've heard good things about bilstein shocks. Try rough country or ready lift for a kit. Even hell bent steel is pretty good

I had a ready lift 2" since that is what the dealer wanted to install and would warranty. Ride was same as stock I didn't notice any difference. You could use ready lift, hell bent steel or pro comp their are a bunch of leveling kits. Also rancho, bilstein and pro comp also make the adjustable shocks for the front. Just depends how much you want to spend. If you have higher mileage you may want to go with the bilstein similar kit since you get a new shock. To me either way works. I like the spaces for the install since it mounts right on top of the factory setup so you can do it in your driveway pretty easy.

I have a 2wd with a 4.5" lift which sits about as high as a 4wd with a 4" lift and I have 35's and I couldn't see putting anything smaller on. I got the wheels and lift all at one time and did it at my friends Midas so I don't have any pics with the stock 20's and 33's.

Sweet thanks guys. So I guess the last thing is can I or cant I use bilsteins or other shocks if I do the level and possible 1"body? Is it one or the other? Or are there exceptions lol. Bilsteins sound nice because of the nicer ride that is supposed to go along with them.

You could use the ride adjustable Bilsteins 5100's alone in the front to get same lift as a spacer and get a set of regular 5100's non adjustable for the back. That will be plenty for 33's and should ride well also.

Yeah you can combo a body lift with any level you do.( including bilsteins) I think the smallest body lift is 1.5" though. Zone has good prices on their 1.5" kit.

Sweet guys I think Ill end up doing the Bilsteins witht the possible 1.5" body lift. Still undecided I dont want it to look like I skip out on leg day hahaha. Thanks for all your help!

The stock tire is a 33".

You are already running a 33" so not quite sure what your question is.

Yes, I am running a 33" AT the is not stock. I want to keep them so I dont have to buy new tires when I get a lift. Thats why I am asking what a good size lift would be as well as pictures of different size tires and lifts. In my case It seems as if a level with possible body lift would be best.
Any opinion on this?

I would probably just get some Bilsteins and start there and see how you like it. Then you can always add a body lift to it later if you want more.
