holy crap those are expensive...check out our sponsor hell bent steel

the first kit will not give you the level look if you install the rear spacers.

The 2" will raise the front and leave you a slight rake

The best way to decide is to measure from the center of the wheel to te lip of the wheel well front and back, the difference between the two is how much you need to level

I have the 2.5" ReadyLift on my 08 however I could not tell you the differences between the 2, other then the obvious .5" height difference. I can, however, tell you that you should be able to find that kit cheaper then what they're advertising on the site. I paid around $150(and I thought I was getting soaked at that price too!) but that was last year. I'm also in Canada so i'm sure theres a bit of a price difference. I've not had any problems with it, but if you're not absolutely stuck on ReadyLift, i'd be searching for something cheaper. Like quietpeen suggested, i've heard good things about HBS. :)

^I will check out our sponsors first next time, I just saw a lot of people on here had ready lift kits, so I assumed it was a decent price/reputable company.

And thanks for the responses, i feel smarter now..:)

you got it. I think it will be in the $80 range shipped for the HBS spacers. I have their 2" spacers and there is still a slight rake.

QuietPeen,

Did that hood come with the truck when you purchased it or was it added on later? What would be a could starting point for research for possibly buying one?

it came with the truck.....one place would be the dealer, but it will be expensive. Another place to try would be the online mopar parts sites like our sponsor factorymopar.com. Or get lucky enough to find somebody local to you that doesn't want theirs

the chally hood should bring a pretty penny on CL.

I'd bet with the right buyer you could get 500 for it

I have the 2.5" kit on my truck and yeah I have a good chunk of $ in it. At the time that's the brand I knew was good so I went with it. If I had to do it again tho, I'd go with a HBS kit, just as good and much less $.

From the dealer almost $1000 for the hood, like $130 for the scoop inserts, and then paint.

I looked into them earlier cause I have a crease in my hood and was gonna have the body shop and geico just order me a sport hood but the standard hood is only $400 so not sure if it'll work. Then again before my first mustang got totaled out they were gonna order a cdc panoramic roof replacement instead of doing body work on the factory roof panel so maybe I can get the sport hood

WOW!! did'nt realize how expensive it would be, and I wasn't too familiar with all the options available during the purchase of my truck. Wish I knew, maybe could have haggled them to throw it in. I got 'em to throw in the B/U Camera, Tow package w/Reciver, extended side steps and Half off on the 6yr/60,000 extended warranty. She was sitting on the show room floor for around $47.5K, after rebates, military discounts BMW trade-in and what not, we ended up paying around $36K for it. Probably not the world greatest steal, but i was happy and didn't feel cheated.

my window sticker showed it as a $800 "upgrade" so i assume that means the sport hood is $800 more than the regular hood

The duraflex fiberglass chally hoods are somewhere around $550 I think plus paint
