My truck was at the shop today for a wheel alignment and my passenger tie rod end needs to be replaced. The mechanic figured it was an aftermarket part. I couldn't say for sure. I had another shop do the work 2 years ago.

I m not sure how many variants of 6" BDS kits exist. Does anyone know off hand if it s most likely a BDS rod?

Yes the kit included new tie rod ends, if you go to their website and select a kit based on your year/truck etc you can download the instructions which have a detailed Parts list with numbers. Worse case call them and see if there’s a moog or equivalent p/n, they have someone make those to their specs. If you find an alternative number let us know.
