I just got my truck back and it has a 6in fabtech lift. My tires don't rub anything on full turns but yet going down the road I can feel the tire is knocking on something. I grinded down a little bit of the plastic fenders but it didn't seem to help much

They are 35x12.5 on a 18x9 rim with 18 offset and 1.5 wheel spacers.

Check to make sure your lugs are tight. Mine loosened up on me a lot after I first put my wheels on and I thought they were hitting something too. Second I tightened them it would stop. Haven't had this issue since.

Edit: I tightened them properly with an airgun at first, picked up a breaker bar to get more torque and they still tightened about a 1/4 turn.

Well I may of have found the problem, somebody either the lift shop or the tire shop (who had it last) only hand tightened all four tires on.... The wheel spacers (on the one I checked) was on tight though. I did notice that two of the studs on it where lose. How big of an issue is this?

So what I assuming, the lift shop never tightened down my rims. In which driving with them lose and out of alignment caused at least one wheel spacer to have lose studs. I didn't check all four cause it was raining. So now I'm have to get new wheel spacers or bite the bullet and get new rims

And then there are these metal flakes on all four rims so seems like something is eating away at something. There is kinda a metal grinding sound that the lift guy said was just trimming needed but since the lug nuts are now tight it doesn't need the firming I already did so the metal flakes I think are coming from the wheel spacers

What wheel spacers are they? Granted I only have max bilsteins but I have 2" BORA wheel spacers on 20x9 wheels and have had zero problems like this..

Thats fked up.

You should not be paying a penny out of pocket to fix this. Every shops famous words... "That is normal" or "it's a truck, it's going to have vibrations"... These mean "please just believe me because I fked up".

IMO

I found the metal grinding sound, it was the brake shield bent and I easily bent it back

I plan on still going back and mentioning the lose studs on the wheel spacer
