I'm currently installing a rcx 6" lift. I've got pretty much everything back on the drivers side. I'm to the point where I need to raise the lower control arm to connect the knuckle to the upper ball joint. I've installed the bilstein 5100s set at 2.1. But the problem is I can't seem to get the lower control arm to move upward. Its acting like it's stuck. I need help!! Here's some picsImageUploadedByTapatalk1403925630.219322.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1403925647.819620.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1403925667.288351.jpg

Make sure you put the jack underneath the bottom ball joint. Also get a ratchet strap and tie around the lower and upper control arms and ratchet them together. Its usually a tough job, just takes some wiggling and heavy pressure.

What I did was jack the truck up (all of the truck weight on that lower control arm) with a jack stand on the other side. That worked for my truck but I have a different lift/Bilstein combo.

Ran into another problem. Have the suspension lift on finally. But it's not sitting right. I'm not for sure what would be the problem. Here are the measurements. The left side measurements from tire to fender. DR 11" DF 13" PF 11 1/2" PR 9 1/4" pic is of just suspension lift and tires ImageUploadedByTapatalk1404008234.991072.jpg idk if you can tell in the pic but obv from the measurements the right side is way lower, any opinions??

My first question would be, where are you measuring from? The top of your tire? Are you on a level surface?

It seems very odd that both the front and rear are lower, usually its just one. Did you use the rubber isolators on top of both rear springs and ensure they were aligned properly?

I'm sure you've already looked at the obivous for the front, same Bilstein adjustment, pre-load spacer, etc. My only thoughts are perhaps a spring is upside down...

Those are some huge variances.

Very top of the tread to the fender. I did use the rubber idolaters. They look like they are seated the exact same on both sides. I did notice the left rear spring isn't seated completely down. I'll have to look at the front springs in a little bit to see if they look the same or if one is opposite of the other. I've measured on 3 different surfaces that I thought were decently level and they were all around the same measurements.

Measure from the ground on a level surface to the center of the fender for a more accurate measurement. Then try on another level surface, just to be certain the difference.

FWIW, my truck was sitting an inch different in the back and it was because that rubber isolator on top of the spring wasn't seated properly. I'm still really at a loss as to what could be causing the front to be so far off.

Wow I feel really dumb.. It was bugging the crap out of me so I just sat there and looked at everything really slow and good.. And on my driver side coil/strut, the seat that the coil sits on was upside down. Spent an hour and a half fixing it now it sits level.. I'm new to all this suspension lift and everything else as we'll so pardon if I sometimes say dumb stuff or do dumb stuff lol.. But atleast it's fixed!

I guess I didn't catch it the first few times I looked at it. Cause I wasn't comparing them. My buddies dad was looking at it and thought about it so I checked and I'll be damned he was right lol
