Hey all ! Well I'll make this quick. ..

I got a 2015 ram sport with a 6in Zone lift . With 37s on a 20in rim...my issue I'm having is that it tends to shake dramatically at around 80 +km... now during the day it's not there but when I'm off my night shift work the truck will sit there for about 13 hours in the -15 weather ...i do live in Canada. Anyways it will sit there for that long, I'll get in hit the highway and will feel the shake always on the left side of the truck like it's the wheel... I feel a bit of it in the steering wheel but mostly on the floor board where my foot rests, it will go away slowley when i drive abit, i usually grab breakfast so the truck sits again for about 10 minutes then i tend to feel it slightly. Now the truck has been in a tire shop to look at it and they can't find anything. They re balanced, torqued, nothing at all and they checked the front end also. The truck has balancing beads as well. And to mention they said there is no moisture in the tire. ..it's completely dry. So does anyone have any idea ???

Given the information I do know about your setup I'm assuming you're running aftermarket 20's and I'll be your problem is that you don't have hub rings installed to make them hub centric rather than lug centric. Shaking at highway speed is a very common problem for that situation.

Find a shop that does Road Force Balancing. Make certain you don't have a wheel issue.

Road force balancing refers to the even distribution of mass in a tire and wheel assembly. While tire balancing measures the imbalances, road force balancing detects the up and down motion of the tire. Road force balancing machines help to detect bulges and hard spots normally missed by regular tire balancing machines.

I used to have nylon ply constructed tires years sgo, which used to flat spot on me, especially in the winter, especially if they set for awhile. After a few miles, they'd warm up and get round again. I couldn't seem to wear them out, I couldn't sell them, I had to give them away to get rid of them.

Yeah it's weird...just got off my night shift...-22 outside...it's even colder! Last time my truck was shaking it was only -11.... anyways the truck didn't shake at all today ?? Why is it random ? And why is it just that side ? I'm going to find a shop that does the road force balancing. Also going to be getting hub centric rings. .but thoes are just small things that might possibly fix this. ...it's just weird how it's not all the time ?

Is there any chance that you could have had snow or ice packed into the wheel? Maybe you drove through some snow or slush right before you parked and it took a little driving to work it out? I have seen a little mud cause shaking after off roading. Or driving for weeks in below freezing weather with snow things never warm up enough to melt off and a build up can happen.

Could just be how the wheel is sitting on the hub. The passenger side may be closer to centered on the hub than the drivers side. However it could shift and start giving you the same problem. The hub rings should take care of that no problem.
