Mevotech gets my vote. Much cheaper, but much tougher than stock. It's been a year and a half and 28,000 kms since mine went on, no issues at all.
Just remember to paint then when you get them.

I vote zone... they aren't very much money and are nicer quality. and they have an easy to find BJ.
differences in a nutshell.... stronger ball joint and allows for better alignment when leveled/lifted/preloading/etc
yes you need an alignment, not that hard to install per se, but could be a pain in the driveway depending on your setup.
A pain in the ass to paint once they're in there you mean? Kinda, way easier if you do it beforehand. If you're referring to install, not sure I had them installed. Are the UCA an pain in the ass job, or easy once in there. Also will the truck need an alignment once the shocks and new UCA are in?
Also are they just added insurance or do the stock UCA fail.
What are the difference?
do you 4x4 at all bud? How many kms now on them? I live in bc with lots of logging roads, wondering if these ucas will last..... Or should i splurge on zone..
No I don't. I will say that the Mevotech's are twice the weight of stock, very beefy. If stock can handle your roads than I'd bet Mevotech can handle worse.do you 4x4 at all bud?
