looking to put the PA 3" body lift on my truck. I know the kit comes with everything needed. My question is when installing the body lift is there an extension needed for the fuel line where you actually pump the gas in or is there enough slack in the line to be raising 3"? Am I going to need anything else on top of the actual kit and the gap guards?

You won't need any kind of fuel line extension. Kit come with everything you'll need, accept the gap guards, and Bilsteins. Get those too. Night and day difference in ride quality over a leveling kit.

I already have a PA leveling kit put on by the dealer. I will be adding the bilsteins shortly after body lift. Do you know what setting I would need the bilsteins set at with body lift installed or do I pull the body lift and just run the bilstein?

Bilsteins won't work with front level kit. It's one or the other

If you go with the Bilsteins just yank the spacer you have in there out when you go to install.

Anyone have any shots of a 3" BL without gap guards installed? I've read the rear is not bad but you might want to the fronts for sure. I'd like to see what it looks like before gap guards are installed.

I don't have any pics, but Ill give you my opinion. I originally didn't purchase the guards because I didn't think I would need them. WRONG, it looks like **** without them. You can see the nasty rusted exhaust manifold through the wheel wells, not to mention it would also be a ***** to keep the engine compartment clean. If you had a purdy set of long tubes, i think it might be a different story.

the rear DOES NOT need gap guards. The fender liner hangs just low enough to cover everything.

Thanks for the advice. I had heard the rear was hidden pretty well but was curious about the fronts. Yay, something to add to my list, lol. My wife is going to kill me, or have kittens.

I agree, the front looks rough. Looks like something is missing from the wheel wells. Thanks for the pics and good advice. Think I'll get these together and install when I do the BL.

Don't try to drill for the gap guards the plastic is too flimsy. Use clamps to get them where you want. Then go along the holes with a sharp pick and poke through the plastic. Then find a screw driver/nail/anything with a slightly smalled od than the plastic push pins and use the screw driver to ream the holes. Push all your plastic pins through and your done. Literally took me 15 minutes.

Use Matt's method for the gap guards so much easier. Also those picts don't do the front end justice of how ugly it is without the gap guards and it is noticeable from a distance.

Np. At first I didn't order them. Then as I waited for the kit I got looking at the truck and decided to order them. My brother installed the bl but not the gap guards before I got home from Alberta this trip and it looks like **** without them.

After having a romantic weekend away with the wife where I got a speeding ticket. Hahaha. These will go on tomorrow.
