Hello all, new to the forum and own a 2012 1500 4x4. I am thinking of having a Zone 4" lift installed in the near future, cost ~$2000 including installation. Does anyone have any experience or comments on the Zone lift? Please share as I dont have much knowledge in this area. I am an avid outdoorsman so just looking to get the truck up a bit and better ride off road.

Zone is a division of BDS and they both make great suspension lifts. However, I think the Rough Country lift cost slightly less and is every bit as good. How much is just the lift kit costing you?

I did RCX on my 2nd gen. Never again. Zone looks like a great kit for the 4th gens though!

I had a zone on my Jeep JK...obviously entirely different. BUt I had zero complaints. I'm thinking about a 4" Zone for my Ram. What I really like about the Zone lift is that it comes with a bracket for the rear track bar. I have no idea how these other companies lift the rear with out either an adjustable track bar or a bracket. Anyone who has lifted a coil sprung vehicle knows as you go the axle will be offset more to one side without a track bar adjustment. This is why I like the Zone kit.

And FWIW...I think the 4" is a perfect match for 35's. 6" looks too tall for 35's.

The shop that will be doing my lift LOVES the Zone kits. Zone 4" installed and out the door $2100 and the 6" $2200.

My buddy and I just installed a Zone lift on his rig. We planned to get 4" but ended up with 3" with adjustable track bar. We also installed rear blocks to bring up the rear end. After the installation, the ride is smoother.

Have had mine installed for 2 years now and still running strong, i have yet to replace my UCA but i would recommend that if you got the change. So far offraod capabilities has been great. I paid about $2100 installed as well.
