I seen a zone 6" suspension kit for $1500 on amazon. I went to the local truck shop on LI,NY and they want $3200 for kit and install. I'm sure it's a pain to install but is that the going rate? Anyone know of a reliable place that would install it for less on Long Island?I would have tried to install it myself but I am renting an apt and don't think the owner would like that too much in his driveway. Lol. thanks.

I got the same kit and was quoted 3000 JUST FOR KIT AND INSTALL. I told the guy I also have bilstein struts for up front and mevotech UCAs to just be put in place of stock parts and they upped the price to 3600(still not including alignment). Went to another shop a little farther away.. got quoted at 2549 for the KIT, INSTALL, BILSTEIN CONVERSION, and ALIGNMENT. All depends are where you go.

Definitely shop around. However, don't go with the cheapest! Try looking up some reviews or talk to people who have had work done at the location you want to go with. Like others said, don't forget that you'll need an alignment. I bought my Zone 6" kit in the high $15XX range, so the price is good. The install is where you want to be VERY selective. Take your time and do your homework. :)

those prices are insane as im having the 5.5 radius arm zone kit put on my 2500, here in elgin MN by a reputable offroad club for 2000$ total. thats lift, install, upgrade shocks, dual steering stabilizer and alignment. the place is called 4x4 unlimited. Jim is a great guy and builds very custom jeeps that never see pavement. he also will fix anything that goes wrong on the lift after the fact. make the drive to minnesota and save a few grand! haha

I am shopping around for good price on Zone 6/3 kit also. Install could be $800-900 or higher end shops $1000-1500 I wouldn't go over $1500 for an install.

I was just quoted $1684.00 for the install on a 4" zone lift for a 1500. Guess no lift for me.
