Installed these "knockoff" (non-mopar) OEM-style flares last night. I think they came out great.

PAINTED FENDER FLARES DODGE RAM 2500 3500 2010 2011 2012 2013 2104 2015 NEW | eBay

I believe these are made in Malaysia; they might even be painted there too. I bought these painted in my factory paint code for $345 shipped to my door, which after shopping around body shops in my area was a smoking deal since most wanted 350 just to paint. I think it was a pretty good deal for painted flares and the paint quality is actually excellent.

The downside to the knockoffs are no formal fastener mounting holes. You, or your installer, have to make your own. It's not impossible if you take your time. The top of the flare is properly gapped and fitted with a 3M style adhesive tape for mounting. These will not rub on the paint.

All in all, great upgrade for the price of some unpainted factory flares.

NOTE: Since I have a SPORT, I ordered the 2500 style flares, as recommended on this forum.

Very nice and killer price!

Que all the people that will come in and post they don't buy cheap eBay junk and enjoy paying 4 times more for parts that all get made in the same factories and sold under different names.

Looks great, I was wondering how nice the knock-offs would be.

I bought a set. Painted them myself. Then decided I liked it without them. They seemed like they fit good. Now I might put them on. Your truck looks great with them. I also bought the 2500 set. I have an express

The flares for a 2500 are shorter in the front since the bumper placement on 1500 and 2500 are different. This works well with the 1500s that have integrated bumper covers like the sport and express trucks.

Well unfortunately my income thus far is less than 400K annually, so the 400 dollar savings I incurred in the 2 hours of extra time it took for the install of these hole-less flares exceeded my time's value at my current income's hourly rate....lol.

But I get what you're saying. I went with these 100% for the price factor. A very small percentage of the toy budget is for the truck. If I didn't have a plethora of springtime expenses between the other toys and my yard maybe I would have not been so cheap. But, nonetheless I am impressed with these cheapos and I do hope they hold up well. The install is frustrating with a single set of hands but obviously by the pics above, doable. With a set or two of beer drinking buddies this would be an absolute breeze of an install, holes or no holes.

Looks great! What does it look like head on? I was gonna buy a set for my truck but the bumpers sit flush with the fenders, wish the bumper sat out a 1/2-1 inch so it would look flush with flares

Those look really good! These will be my next purchase. Local quote to paint 2500 flares was for $450 (no way just for paint). Thanks for the post and pictures!

Quality paint materials are expensive. But that still seems high. It's a hobby of mine. One of friends and do it on the side a few days a week after work. Used to be able to paint a whole car in ppg was about 1000$ in materials. Now some basecoat is 700$ a gallon.

That's actually what I had estimated when looking. Boy was I surprised when I called around and most said 350-450. I get that my region is not the cheapest for really anything but the prep is minimal out of the box and paint quantity is low. I think it's just a matter of "we can get it" when it comes to body work pricing around here and a lot of places.

Sidebar...
I've REALLY been wanting to get the HVLP kit from Harbor Freight and work on my gun skills (on tractors and such, not my vehicles). A friend and I had used the regular HF paint gun on a Comanche we built. We used a White/Iseki/Lamborghini silver colored tractor paint from Tractor Supply and it came out surprisingly good for a home paint job completed by two painting-inexperienced, beer drinking, jeepforum readers. I wonder how well it would have turned out had we gone with the HVLP kit because there are a good bunch of pics around the web from projects folks have used the kit for and they look excellent.

We'll see what the future holds (my first kid's due date is actually today lol... so things should get a lot "busier"), but if I end up getting the kit I'll post up a review and some results pics.
