The AVS I bought are model number 994004. I bought them from Amazon...

never had weathertecs . avs install is a simple in channel process. they look great and no white logo.

Has anyone had the problem with the in channels preventing the window from going up? A few friends have them on their cars and don't have a problem, but I have read some reviews that say that is a problem

You'll have to reprogram your automatic window up range.
The window sensor will detect something in the way assume it's a finger and then open on its own

There's a sequence of holding the up button for X amount of time. Took about ten minutes to do.

I love my EGR, the Black Matte goes with my whole theme and never had an issue with them, also have the bug deflector.

Any in channel ones I bought end up chattering and causing un wanted noise not sure if the regular cab windows are different.

I live in texas, an the heat can get well above 95+. On those really hot days, i like to leave my windows cracked.

You can leave the window open enough to get ventilation without rain (or someone's arm) getting in.

Tinting the front windows??? HHHMMMMM will that not make it more difficult to see at night and on rainy over cast days???
