Just a quick question trying to find a FastAnswer are the 1500 headlight assemblies the same as the 2500 headlight assemblies?

Yea they are all the same. Any 09-17 1500, 2500, 3500 etc that came from the factory with quads or duals can be swapped out for quads or duals, both fit each others stock trucks. As for the 13+ oem projectors, if your truck didnt come with them then you need an adapter. Also, you can not put a pair of quads ir duals onto a Ram that originally came with oem projectors.
