17” wheels on a truck that had factory 20” wheels

I’m sure this has been discussed a million times. I searched and searched and couldn’t find anything. But has anyone put 17’s on a truck that came with factory 20’s? Are there any figment issues?

I put the OEM 17" wheel/tires from a Rebel on my Larime longhorn. No fitment issues. The outer diameter is almost the same as the factory 20's with smaller sidewalls, so the spedo is off by about 2Mph @ 65mph.

The dealer can likely change the tire size in BCM to any of the factory sizes so the speedo is correct. Some aftermarket devices can do this also.

Awesome!! Thanks for all the replies. I have a lone star that had 20’s on it and I put aftermarket 20’s but I’m about to go to a bigger tire and wanted to go to a smaller rim. I like more meat and less wheel

I put 18"s on mine.

20s make it look like a city truck.

17s look really good too, I think

I put the 17” rebel rims on my bighorn. Fits great!

How much does the 0 offset stick out?
