Currently I have 35s on the stock 20s but it is time to get something new. I plan on staying with 35s but am torn on if I want to stay with the 20s or drop to 18s. I have read other posts about this before and know people talk about the differences in looks, ride quality, price, and even tire options within those sizes. I've gone back and forth for a while but still can't decide.

Which do/would you choose and why?

Can't go wrong with either I just prefer the look of 20" wheels.

I'll say the opposite. 18's. Less money for the wheels and rubber to wrap them in. Plus I don't like the look of a big wheel. Maybe I'm too old school cause I love the look of a 15" rim with a giant tire on it.

I'm also going to go against the grain. I had stock 20's, and I went down to 18's. I like a beefier looking tire.

That's what I keep leaning towards. I'm OK with the 20s but think the bigger tire looks better. There is a truck at work with 37s on 24s and it reminds me of the lifted impalas I see running around here all the time.

Truck looks good. Now do I stay with 35 or go to 37? Hmmm

I say 20's paired with a 37" tire for that beefed up look.

from my personal experience with moving from the stock 33's to 35's.... I'd stay with 35's. The power loss going to a bigger, heavier tire, was a little surprising to me.

Man, I love the stance of your truck. Would you mind telling what exactly you have there? I know 18" wheels, but what width, offset and backspace are they; also the tire size, lift?, Bils?, rear spacers?

Thanks, looks awesome!

Sure... I spent about 3 months researching exactly what I wanted, measuring this and measuring that, so I was sure it was going to still fit in my garage.

I have a BDS 4" lift kit with 3" rear coil springs. BDS shocks in the rear (no spacers), and Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts in the front set at 1.4" to level it out. She sits dead level in all four corners at 43.5" from ground to fender.

I have Fuel Throttle 18x10 wheels with -12 offset. I have Mastercraft Courser MXT tires 305/70/R18. The tires measure out to be 34.9"x12"

I love the kit and it drives great.

I am right in the middle of ordering all my parts for my lift kit. I was planning on going with the BDS 6" lift with 35x12.5 x20 tires with fuel Kranks 20x10 -12 offset. I can't seem to find the wheels anywhere. They are out of stock and on backorder. I am glad I saw the pictures of your truck. The offset you have is exactly what I am looking for. Your truck looks great! I haven't ordered the lift yet. I was going to do it today. I have the Bilstein 5100 shocks already. I am considering ordering the 4" lift and going the same way you did.
