Two weeks ago I purchased my fourth Ram 1500. This new Ram is a 1500 Sport and it has a sunroof. I love the sunroof, but it doesn't open all the way. The sun shade opens to where there is about 2 inches sticking out into the opening of the sunroof, but the glass sticks out about 4-5 inches into the opening of the sunroof. Does anyone know if this is normal for the 2017 Rams or is there a problem with my sunroof. I had a 2017 Ram with a sunroof and it opened all the way.

mine does not open all the way either. following this post.
my 2001 VW was the last vehicle i had with a sun roof and that opened all the way haha

My '16 does not open all the way, leaves about 2 or 3".

Hey Greg,
I did check on this with the brand, and about 4-5 inches away from the headliner is normal operation.
