40-42" curved LED light bar in sport bumper?

Anyone installed a 40 - 42" curved light bar in the sport front bumper? I'm wanting to buy one and install it but I want to know if anyone's done the leg work and has a write up, tips, brand preference, custom brackets etc... I've done some searching but ain't coming up with much. Found a pic but no details. Thanks.

There is a member of another forum that did a 30" (I believe) in the factory bumper opening.

He cut the insert to fit the light. Came out a very clean install all things said n done.

I think I saw that, white truck? Installed between tow hooks? I want to fill the entire opening, seems the curved are out now but hard to find. From measurements I got roughly 42.5" of opening, been searching but have only seen china knockoffs. As far as brackets I think I can fabricate something at work (I build airplanes) coming off the lower two front bumper bolts at the end of the frame, seem to roughly be 38 1/4 from outboard bolt to bolt.

5% tint, daystar leveling kit, straight piped exhaust, plastidipped emblems, 17" rims with nitto AT, rigid pods behind the grill, 40" bar lower grill, strobes, three pods on my tailgate, tailgate bar, CB/PA, tinted tail lights, 8K HID Low and fogs, led cargo and license plate lights, mossy oak weather floor matts, maxtrac 4.5" spindle lift with leveling kit. 7" lift.

Curved bar would definitely need some brackets to mount as you need to utilize the end mounts. If you got a straight bar that had the adjustable position mounts you can use the bumper support brackets behind the plastic insert to mount it perfectly.

That's exactly what I did but those adjustable mounts broke on my bar and I had no way to re mount it. So I sold it.

The OP's idea would be great to have mounts fabbed up that run down from the bumper mounts. Beyond my capability to make them, though.

Where did you get them ? I looked online and couldn't find any :/
Worst case scenario I buy another one I only lost $20 on it

As long as you don't drive with it on you'll be ok. You only need light covers on lights about the headlights.

That straight bar install turned out great. I think the curved bar would look great flush with the bumper! I want to do it when I get some extra money! I want to find a decent bar at a semi decent price.

Just received my 41.5" curved light bar yesterday... wil work on the brackets during the weekend.

Seems to be a great fit, BTW I would love to stick to OEM switches, do you anyone happens to know if they sell similar switches?

I distribute these locally in Mexico, I buy directly from China. Uses 3w Cree LED chips inside, spot beam, awesome light out put. These are about $250ea FOB HK. these are great quality by the way..
