Looking for a second opinion I’m getting a 4in lift put on my 1500 and I talked to my buddy he’s saying I could fit 37’s cause he’s running 37’s Mickey Thompson stock 20’s wheels on a 4in lift with a little bit a trimming and 1 1/4 spacers is it possible the shop that he bought the truck from got the wrong information and it’s a 6in lift or can you fit 37’s on a 4in

At my store we run 35's on the 4" Im sure you can use 37's and spacers, but in the words of Chris Rock, you can drive a car with your feet. Doesnt make it a good F****ing Idea.

If you're planning on running 37's, why not just go with the 6". There's not that much price difference between both lifts in the superlift kit. I'm not a fan of the "stuffed" look, but if you're concerned about clearing your garage or parking garages, I say go 4" with 35's.

6in aren’t legal where I’m from other then that I would of went with a 6in and I’m not worried about clearing garages

That your ride ?

No that’s not my truck. I have approx 8” front lift and I still had to trim my front lower airdam and that’s with 20x9 -12. If you look closely you can see that owner cut the corner off the painted bumper. There’s no way that truck could ever offroad.

Here’s what my front trim looks like, I tried to do a nice clean job so nobody would notice.

(No trim at rear of front fender I have plenty of room)

Looks like I’ll have to stick with 35’s as I have a chrome front bumper little harder to cut
