I have a 2014 ram 1500 lonestar 4x4. I have a 22" led light bar mounted on the front in between the tow hooks, but it sticks out about 3". I want to cut out the center between the tow Hooks to flush mount the light bar. My question is has anyone else already done this, and if so is there anything they wish they would've done better?

Thanks! You must have the solid metal between the tow hooks. Mine has the thinner gap between the hooks. Wish they wouldnt have done that. The damn 2500's have the perfect set up.

Is the light output still pretty decent on the single rows?

It won't be as bright as a dual obviously but if you opt for a little bit pricier bar they are pretty impressive.

There are some 10"-20" rigids that'll blow a 50" Chinese knockoff outta the water.

For your specific bumper, I'd go with a nice single row if it was me.

Edit: my bad dude, thought I was replying to the op lol

Were you talking about selling my light or my bumper? Because if I got a single row light bar (which I have been looking at) but I still couldn't mount it the way I want inside of my bumper

Talking about the lightbar.

Is there not room behind the bumper where you want to cut to have it recessed like your wanting?

so i have the same problem but i have a 42" curved bar that is pretty thin compared to most i think i have been working on this with out cutting the bumper as well i took my tow hooks out and but flat stock steel to weld in to the pockets so i have something solid to mount the bar on but now i cant decide if that is the way to go or mount it on top the bumper infront of the grill.
